or HR Shared Services – Advantage Neocase & Neocase HR…

Wimbledon, the oldest tennis tournament in the world, is right around the corner once again. It has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London, England since 1877 – this prestigious tournament is the only major tennis competition still played on grass – the original playing surface for the sport. Offering a fortnight (to coin an English phrase – two weeks for the rest of the world) of major, junior and international events each year; this event marries the tradition of the sport with modern technology…

Wimbledon traditions, for instance, still require strict dress codes for competitors. While the Club’s ‘predominantly in white’ rule introduced in 1963 has been modified as of 1995 to ‘almost entirely in white;’ clothing must still be submitted for approval and guidelines including preferences towards pastel colors (if not white entirely) and for accessories (hats, socks & shoes) to be almost entirely white, must be followed. The tournament is also notable for the absence of sponsor advertising around the courts, the traditional eating of strawberries and cream by the spectators, and attendance by the Royal Family.

But even traditional venues move with the times to some degree; Centre Court was fitted with a retractable roof in 2009 to lessen the loss of playing time due to rain, tennis balls are stored in a climate controlled environment at 68 degrees F, and a large screen television (40 sq. meters in size) was added to the grounds to accommodate ever-more spectators. Wimbledon’s total attendance for the thirteen days of the 2014 matches was over 490 thousand!

Neocase too offers state-of-the-art technological solutions that always keep in mind that human resources are people – and should be respected as such. Our company and its offerings reflect that position in all that we do – always trying our best to meet the twin challenges of combining technology  with the people who employ it – to make their jobs, and lives, easier. Our comprehensive HR Shared Services Systems are designed and created to work intuitively, and be seamlessly integrated into people’s work days – working with, not against, the way people think and process – to be up-and-running quickly and easily.

Combining the traditional values of integrity and respect for people and how they think and work with modern technology – to bring about products and services that serve them – is our hallmark. Our Neocase HR Shared Services line of offerings continues to receive accolades by the companies and people who implement and use these solutions. As does Wimbledon today, we strive to impart a bit of the latest technological progress into people’s lives – while never forgetting that we’re leveraging that technology to serve people – a good tradition to maintain.
