Today is October 31, and in many parts of the world, it’s All Hallows’ Eve, or Halloween for short.  In fact, some form of Halloween is celebrated in 20 countries around the world.  Each of those countries has its own traditions.  And some of those traditions are downright frightening!

Many of those frightening traditions associated with Halloween have caused nightmares that last well into December.

Another “H” word is Human Resources, or HR for short.  Like Halloween, it’s practiced all around the world.  And just as some Halloween traditions can be frightening, so can a lot of HR processes.

Can HR processes can cause nightmares?

What make HR processes more scary than a three-headed goblin is that they don't just come along once a year.  Most HR processes can rear their heads anytime of the year. But that's not all.  They're complex, and when something is complex, there's a lot that can go wrong.

But many of the evil demons in an HR process can be slayed by applying the good powers of technology.  Technology can organize a process, automate time consuming manual steps and prevent tasks from falling through the cracks into the seven circles of hell.
